A fan-favorite choice for the role of Wonder Woman in James Gunn’s slowly emerging DCU has expressed interest in joining the comic book movie franchise as the Amazonian superhero. At present, little is known about Gunn and his DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran’s plans for Wonder Woman, with the iconic hero glimpsed in animated form in the Creature Commandos series and a prequel series titled Paradise Lost reportedly in the works.
