John Boyega, the actor who played Finn in the latest Star Wars trilogy, has remained one of the most honest people around when speaking the truth about the rampant toxicity in the fandom. As a co-lead in The Force Awakens, Boyega is one of several actors in the Star Wars film and TV universe who received racist attacks online, along with Kelly Marie Tran, who played Rose Tico in The Last Jedi, Amandla Stenberg, previously featured in The Acolyte, and Moses Ingram, who played Inquisitor Reva in Obi-wan Kenobi. In an interview for a new documentary called Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Men in Hollywood, Boyega had some choice words for the haters, as reported by Entertainment Weekly:
