Superman is one of the most anticipated movies of 2025, as director James Gunn is looking to revitalize the first superhero for a modern age by fully embracing the character’s inherent goodness and more outlandish aspects, including Krypto the Super Dog. Superman is seen as the true start to Gunn’s ambitious DCU plans, a shared cinematic universe, so a lot is riding on it.
