Movies based on popular video games can be a hit or miss. While only a few achieve both critical and commercial success, like Super Mario Bros. and A Minecraft Movie, others join the list of flops. The Mortuary Assistant is the latest game to get a feature adaption, and while it’s currently in production, its leads consist of two very familiar faces. Willa Holland, most known for her role as Thea Queen/ Speedy in Arrow on The CW and House of Cards‘Paul Sparks (who played Thomas Yates), will steer the project. The Mortuary Assistant is a best-selling horror video game created by Brian Clarke in 2022.
