The subject of AI use in Hollywood continues to be a tense and unpredictable one, and it seems that it has raised its head again after the SAG-AFTRA filed a charge of “unregulated use of artificial intelligence in video games” against Llama Productions LLC, an Epic Games company who are behind the incredibly popular Fortnite. The complaint comes after the game used AI to replicate the voice of the late Star Wars legend James Earl Jones’ Darth Vader for his appearance in the game.
