Once upon a time warp… in a galaxy very, very, very, very far away, Spaceballsopened in theaters, but now Mel Brooks‘ iconic Star Wars spoof is travelling at “Ludicrous Speed” (because lightspeed is too slow) into a popular streaming service’s library. The 1987 space opera parody film, starring Bill Pullman, John Candy, and Rick Moranis, will arrive on Max – which is soon to be rebranded back to HBO Max – on Jun. 1, 2025, giving people the chance to watch the classic comedy before the saga continues with an all-new sequel.
