Danny Boyle, the Academy Award-winning director of films like Trainspotting and this year’s highly anticipated zombie sequel, 28 Years Later, helmed a seriously underrated science fiction thriller back in 2007. Titled Sunshine, and starring Cillian Murphy, the movie is a criminally underseen modern sci-fi masterpiece that sadly bombed at the box office, only grossing a little over $34 million from a $40 million production budget.
